The Pontiac Firebird Trans Am broke the mold of the Trans Am formula with the Trans Am Turbo. Instead of using a big V8 engine, Pontiac made the decision to instead turbocharge a 231 cubic-inch engine. This version of the Trans Am is extremely popular, and hard to find. In addition to being a turbo car, this example is also a special edition Pace Car to celebrate the Trans Am serving in the 73rd Indy 400 on May 28, 1989. It's one of only 1554 like it, and has a leather interior, an automatic transmission, and rolls on aluminum wheels. The odometer reads 33,763 miles
