Description

The 1969 Chevrolet Corvette was the first year the Corvette offered the "Stingray" name as one word when compared to the previous 1963 – 1967 when it was always known as the "Sting Ray". This change became a defining feature of the Corvette brand for years to come. Additionally, the 1969 Corvette introduced the side exhausts as an option, which became a popular and iconic feature for the model. One thing we personally appreciate is that the model also continued to offer the high-performance L46 engine option. Having the opportunity to drive many variations of the 350 cubic inch V8 engine over the years, the L46 continues to impress us with its strong smooth torque at 380 ft. lbs. and of course the higher horsepower at 350 hp.
.
The 1969 model that we have to offer showing just 15,463 miles on the clock which we believe to be actual based on the previous ADOT title and conversations with the previous owner. This gives you just a glimpse of how well this car has been maintained. Take a look at its sleek Riverside Gold exterior and black leather interior, and you'll definitely see that this Corvette is a standout example of the iconic C3 design. This Corvette has its original numbers matching L46 350 V8 engine with transmission duties being handled with its numbers matching 4-speed Muncie transmission. The only modifications that the previous owner made to the drivetrain includes the installation of an Edlebrock 4-barrel carburetor and an all-stainless steel exhaust system featuring stainless polished Magnaflow mufflers.

Riverside Gold is one of the brightest and most distinct metallic colors offered on the Stingray, and it was only available for two years. So that's why plenty of time and money was spent getting the recent professional respray looking so good. And great paint needs a great canvas. You can see that the body panels look quite crisp with the shark-like pointed nose, flush-fitting headlight doors, and the flying buttress rear sitting right. You'll notice that the prior owner chose to use all chrome GM Rally style rims keeping the GM branded center caps to make this car really “pop”. The bumpers are in fantastic condition and not even a single Stingray badge is out of place.

The Corvette's interior is a true time capsule. The standard black interior shows as new with its console looking fresh. The carpet appears as new and both factory standard and Corvette branded floor mats are included with the sale. A new radio has been installed that gives this Corvette Blutooth capabilities while using the standard speakers mounted in the kick panels. You'll enjoy the comfort of both power steering and brakes to make the driving experience as comfortable as they come.

This 1969 Chevrolet Corvette L46 is a car that turns heads and stirs the soul. This iconic Corvette, with its powerful 350 V8 engine and sleek design, embodies the spirit of classic American sports cars. Don't miss your chance to take the wheel of this legendary vehicle.
